In collaboration with Katara Cultural Village, Agafi Group produced and organised the Universal Music Concert.
George Agafi built the concept around a first: the legend Elias Rahbani on stage with his son, the composer Ghassan Rahbani, joined by the singers Rania Ghosn, Gilbert Jalakh, Basima and Johnny Awad. Elias Rahbani conducted the Lebanese Orchestra.
A universal music concert mixes operatic songs, Arabic songs, pop and the film and television music the whole Arab East knows. It brings East and West together, and their cultures with them.
